Difficult Difficult Difficult



Rhone drives me batty. She's such a lovely doll... but she's not photogenic. At all. I don't know what it is, but she turns out terrible in photographs. I think these three portrait shots (two more behind the cut) managed to turn out all right, but in general, Rhone looks at least 4x better in real life than in photos.





This one I took earlier in the day, when the light was different. It shows how much her skin tone can vary, depending on the light. This is closer to the color her resin actually is -- very pale and sugar.

Choa's are very pretty, but I can see what you mean about being hard to photograph. Honestly I think it is her eyes and the way they sit in her head that may be giving you troubles. Something I've noticed with most Choa's I've seen. ^^

Actually my Choa (Cosmina) photographs like a dream, no problem, almost every photo is a stunner... The problem is Rhone isn't a Choa at all! She's a Chowon, actually. They look quite a bit alike, don't they?

I will admit, Rhone has the same kind of wide-eyed eyes that Choa has, which is sometimes a problem. My main issue with her is probably her mouth, with sometimes looks really pursed, like she's blowing kisses or making a fish-face.

Next time I get her out of her box and mess with her, I may see if I like her side-glancing better. She was side-glancing with her old violet eyes and I preferred that...
